Today I did NOT turn 28 years old.

Jacob did NOT wish me a Happy Birthday and then did NOT immediately tell me that I am now and old lady.

When I asked him how old he thought I was he wouldn't dare tell me that he thought I was 88 years old. NOT my son.

My mom and my boyfriend did NOT throw me an amazing birthday party tonight. Dan did NOT get me my favorite chocolate covered strawberries. My family did NOT spoil me with gift cards, beautiful cards, and yummy lip glosses. My family is NOT the best!

Earlier this past week Jacob did NOT eat a tortilla chip with habenero sauce on it for $10. He is NOT asking me for money every time he eats something now.

I did NOT close the car door on my hip this week and I did NOT give myself a huge bruise.

Well ... thats all I got this week. Come back next week to see what crazy things happened.
FYI -- I do feel better now that I aired my dirty laundry.

Oh yes it is Monday - barely!

This past week I definitely did NOT make woodland creature food (just like MckMama) and my son did NOT love it!

I also did NOT go to Whole Foods and purchase every snack and soy milk and Ezechiel bread I could find. I am NOT going to try a Gluten - Free diet for my son who DOESN'T struggle with attention issue.

I did NOT slam my finger into the steering wheel after getting into the car after leaving Whole Food's store so hard that my finger nail started bleeding. I also did NOT hold my hand above my head so that it wouldn't hurt so much. And I did NOT tell my son that my finger feels much better when he is quiet.

Saturday morning I definitely did NOT oversleep and miss Jacob's soccer game that started at 10 a.m. It is also NOT a good thing that Jacob was at R's house so he made his soccer game. I would NOT accept the bad mommy award for missing his soccer game and also miss him score another goal.

My super sweet boyfriend, Dan, and I would NEVER EVER spend all day Saturday and Sunday painting my bedroom a beautiful shade of gray instead of the super ugly butter cream yellow that was on the walls when I bought my condo. (Every room and ceiling was NOT painted an ugly butter cream yellow when I bought my condo 2 years ago! I have NOT only painted the bathroom, Jacob's room , and now finally my room since I moved in.)

My wonderful brothers Mark and Michael are NOT coming over tomorrow and Wednesday to paint the dining room, living room, hallway, and stairway in return for gas money and lunch money. I would NEVER use my brother's like that.

Whooh ... I feel so much better now that I got all those things - that I DID NOT DO - off my chest. You should try it now. Everybody is doing it! No seriously - check out MckMama's blog and see who else would NEVER EVER do anything silly like I have NOT done.

Not Me! Monday!

The only thing I love about Monday's is putting together my Not Me! Monday post. Please come join MckMama, me and everyone else in this bloggy universe. It is so much fun and as MckMama says a free therapy session.

Jacob totally didn't wake up this morning thankful that it wasn't Mother's Day anymore. He would never say that Mother's Day is too hard and that Mom's should always take care of their kids. I would never ever reply that I am thankful it wasn't Mother's Day either because Mother's Day is hard work for Mom's!

Being the absolutely perfect mother that I am ... I definitely didn't let Jacob help me light candles by holding the lighter. He then didn't put the hot lighter on his cheek to check if it was hot and burn his face. No way not me ... there is no way he would have been able to burn himself while I was standing right next to him.

On Mother's Day I would never go shopping with my mother and buy myself a pretty red lantern and two shirts. I also wouldn't buy Jacob and Christian shirts to wear on the 4th of July. I am not a planner and would never have thought 2 months ahead.

I am also not so thankful for having such a wonderful mother. I would never ever want to talk to my mom every single day atleast 3 times a day. I would never ever want to see her when I pick Jacob up from her house every night. I would never ever be so greatful for having her as my mother. She definitely isn't the best mother anyone could ask for. And I would never say I love her so much.

I definitely did not think about kicking a soccer ball at R's new girlfriends face on Saturday at Jacob's soccer game. That would be immature and childish and wrong ..... Right??

I definitely wouldn't couldn't still be eating marshmallow peeps from Easter. They taste so much better when they are stale! ( I mean marshmallow peeps are gross)

Being that I have everything all together all the time I would never ever ever ever leave laundry in baskets for 2 weeks AND laundry in the dryer since last Monday AND clothes in the washing machine for 3 days. No way would I ever do that.

Also, at Jacob's soccer game I would never ever video tape the grass while Jacob scored a goal. No way am I that into a 6 year olds soccer game that I couldn't even hold a camera towards the field. Thankfully, he scored 2 more goals that I did get on tape.

I am definitely not up on Sunday night at almost 10 p.m. typing this post while the previously stated laundry baskets are sitting in front of me waiting to be folded and put away. No way not me ... not ever.

Lastly, there isn't dirty dishes in the sink and a dirty table that needs to be wiped down also waiting for me to clean. I am way more on top of house cleaning than to leave things a mess.

I know I said lastly but really this is the last one ...
I DEFINITELY DIDN'T GET ACCEPTED TO NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY. Ok I did but how exciting is that!!

Yay for me.

No Not Me ... I would never ever spend the most beautiful day we have had in a long time inside the house organizing my son's closet. Not me ... I made sure I had all the closets organized while the weather was horrible.

No Not Me ... I would never ever toss the "non-approved" stuffed animals in the donate pile just because I don't like stuffed animals ... I would never get rid of something my son said he wanted to keep.

No Not Me ... I would never ever be sooooo tired that I would bring a cup filled with Pedialite to bed with me, I would never ever forget to put it on the night stand, and then I would never ever roll over and dump it on myself.

* On Thursday, with all the Chicago rain, I definitely did not drive into what I thought was a puddle and end up 3 feet deep in water and total my car. I am an excellent driver. I would never think if I drove slowly enough I could make it through ... No way not me!

* I would never ever go to the doctor with throw up on my pants, unbrushed teeth, and crazy hair just because my grandma said that an upset stomach and throwing up could mean appendicitis and immediately rushed Jacob to the doctor ... No not me!

* I would never wouldn't even dare consider punching out my HR person because she told me I don't get bereavement pay because a great grandmother is not considered family but a mother in law is (which she informed me that I wouldn't know because I am not married). I am way more level headed than that.

* I also wouldn't dare consider quitting because a company who doesn't consider a great grandmother family isn't worth working at.

* Lastly, I wouldn't ever let my son play 2 hours of video games because I wanted to be undisturbed while watching The Bachelor. I would absolutely put him first and get him into bed and read him a story rather than watching The Bachelor.

No not me ... I definitely did not want to rear end almost all the drivers on the road. I love all people so I definitely would not call them morons and idiots ... No not me!

No not me ... I would never ever let me son sleep in the clothes he wore the same day because it would be easier than to change him into p.j.'s while he was sleeping. I have a strict evening routine and I would never ever let watching The Bachelor stop me from it .... No not me!

No not me ... I would never ever eat an entire bag of Cadbury Mini Eggs ... I never eat junk food that is just disgusting to eat soooo much chocolate that my stomach was sick and yelling at me for the rest of the day. ... No not me!

No not me ... I would never ever log onto my computer first thing in the morning to read everyone's new blog posts. I have a life and a job and a child! ... No not me!

No not me ... I do not find myself talking about fellow bloggers as they are my best friends and cyber blog stalk them ... No not me!

*I most certianly did not beg my 5 year old to tell me what I could do to get him to listen to me. He did not respond with "Mommy, I always listen to you" Could have fooled me!

*I also did not ground him after he knocked the tv off the stand while trying to get a Lego that he threw behind the tv. My child would never throw things or disobey my rules.

*I would never ever pray to God to help me to stop yelling at Jacob so much. I would never yell I always handle things with a calm voice and I never loose my composure.

*After the alleged TV accident, I would never never never pull the cords out of the back of the playstation, grab the game controller, and hold them out in front of Jacob declaring them "Mine Now"

*Then in pure desperation this morning I would never log onto the church's website and sign up for the "Effective Parenting in a Defective World" small group. I most certianly have the parenting thing down pat.

Now that I have shared my Not Me Monday ... give it a shot yourself. Clear your head and your conscience of the things you may or may not have done.

* I most certainly did not wake up in a house filled with smoke and then go back and lay down thinking this definitly was not happening.

* I definitly did not only grab my cell phone as I left the house ... I am definitly more organized to have all my most important things in a bag by the front door just in case of a fire.

* I wouldn't and didn't slip on the rug and walk into my desk at work TWICE! I couldn't be that clumsy.

* I wouldn't dare pack Jacob an overnight bag and send him to my mother's without telling him he was sleeping there ... No mother would do that knowing otherwise he wouldn't stay.

No No Not Me. I would never ever do these things.
