mid week confessions

Have you ever wanted to just vent? Allow your frustrations and short comings to be shared with others? Well then you are in the right place! It has been awhile since I made confessions on here {ok honestly it has been awhile since I have done anything on this blog ... sorry it will get better} and today I am ready to share. If you  about thiswant to share then go ahead and click on the button above. Then you will get to meet E and read her confessions as well. So without further ado ... I present ... my confessions.

~ I just realized that since I graduated college on December 31st and I don't have a job so therefore I am officially unemployed. Not too happy this.
~ I have made myself a to-do list that consists of 9 things and I have yet to accomplish any of them.
~ I made a lot of pajama pants this Christmas and I still have one pair to go. I really don't want to go into my sewing again ... too soon!
~ Jacob went back to school today and I didn't look in his back pack until last night. I prayed that he didn't have any homework ... thank goodness he didn't.
~ We took down our Christmas decorations New Years Day and now I feel like my house is naked. Is it too early to put up Valentine's Day decorations?

Well I should start working on my to-do list before Jacob gets home from school. I do feel better now that I have confessed.

  1. Good luck on the job search!

I hardly ever cross off everything on my to-do list, so you're not alone!!

    Happy 2012!

  2. So glad you joined in. And, To Do lists are just fun to write - that's why I do it. Not to actually accomplish anything! :)

P.S. MAKING pajama pants? Sounds wonderful.

  3. I ALWAYS feel like the house is naked after I take down Christmas. Two years ago, I painted a wall in the living room to make up for it. Last year, I bought some new "stuff" to decorate with. This year I am trying to be content, but it was a rough few days.

And I make to-do lists and add things to them simply so I can cross them off. Like... "write to-do list." lol

  4. my christmas stuff is still up. the longer it stays up..the harder it is to get used to the nakedness it leaves behind when i finally get up the energy to de-decorate. :)
