So We Don't Forget: Volume 1

What is my favorite 'alone time' activity?

I love to read. My dream day would be sitting on the couch or in a comfy chair, drinking hot tea, and reading a book. I know that sentence makes me sound 100 years old but at 28 it is my favorite thing to do.

Very rarely do I get a day where I am able to do this which makes it more enjoyable when I finally do.

I don't know if this will change as the years go on but I love getting lost in a book.

  3. No, it doesn't make you sound old :)
I think it's great and what a good habit it's teaching your son!

  4. (visiting from Marla's blog)

I'm with you on your "alone time" activity! (Although, I'd probably go for coffee versus tea most days.) If only the kids would entertain themselves in another room (without getting into trouble) for a couple hours!

  5. I'm with you Mindy! I would love to cozy up somewhere and read and have a cup of coffee. I don't read nearly as much as I'd like to - that's why I was asking for some tips on what to read. I think I'm going to go with Holly's recommendation about the missionary (title escapes me at the moment). I actually had that book on my wish list on Amazon for a while so I think I'll go and buy it now!

Enjoy some book and tea time. You deserve it! :)

    Love ya.
